  Innovating from the nano
Using lasers and nanoparticles, scientists have found a new technique to locate individual malignant cells and destroy them by means of nano-bubble explosions. The methods consists of introducing nanoparticles of gold (of approximately one thousandth of a milimeter) in the cancerous cell and illuminate it with a laser to generate “nano-bubbles” that destroy the cell.
