At the end of July (30) the closing talk of Hugo Cros' stay was held, a Physics Engineering student at Polytech Clermont (France), who since April has been developing research in the area of nanoscale magnetism at the Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (CEDENNA).
The presentation, titled "Modeling Magnetic Behavior in Nanostructures Using Spin-Lattice Dynamics," addressed advances and challenges in modeling magnetic behavior in nanostructures using spin-lattice dynamics techniques. Cros's work is part of an international collaboration that strengthens the ties between CEDENNA and European research centers.
The event brought together 24 people interested in this line of research: 16 participants connected virtually and 8 in-person attendees.
With this talk, Cros concludes a period of intense and enriching work that contributes to strengthening knowledge of nanoscale magnetism and boosting the center's international reach.
