The Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (CEDENNA) invites undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and technology developers affiliated with the Center to participate in the 2025 CEDENNA Images Contest.
This initiative seeks to collect the best images obtained from nanoscience and nanotechnology research, whether through electron microscopy, simulations, or other techniques, with the aim of bringing scientific work closer to the general public and fostering a scientific culture in our country.
Visibility and Dissemination
The selected images will be included in CEDENNA's outreach materials, appearing in calendars, books, presentations, exhibitions, and activities in educational institutions and high-traffic venues. Furthermore, all works will become part of CEDENNA's historical record and may be used in future outreach materials, always giving due credit to their authors.
Awards and Recognition
The jury will select three winning images, considering their quality, creativity, and value for science communication. Each selected work will receive a prize of $100,000 pesos (net amount).

Submissions will be accepted until 5:00 PM on Thursday, October 30, 2025.
