The digital media outlet El Mostrador published the column titled “The great absentee in the presidential debates: science”, written by Juan Escrig, dean of the Faculty of Science of the University of Santiago and researcher at CEDENNA.
In the text, the academic warns that, despite the relevance of science and technology to the country's development, these issues still do not have a place in presidential discussions, and calls for considering investment in knowledge as a strategic axis for Chile.
