Our director, Dr. Dora Altbir, spoke on Radio Bío Bío about the main advances and challenges that will mark the new stage of the Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (CEDENNA), in a context of strengthening applied research and its impact on the development of the country.
During the interview, Dr. Altbir highlighted the strategic role of nanoscience and nanotechnology in addressing key challenges facing Chile, from health and the environment to industry, energy, and food. In this new phase, CEDENNA plans research aimed at generating cutting-edge knowledge with concrete solutions that address the country's needs and contribute to improving people's quality of life.
The importance of linking science, government, and industry was also addressed, strengthening national capacities and promoting a long-term vision in scientific and technological innovation, where research not only advances in the academic sphere but also has a real and measurable impact on society.
